Two of our three courses, Positive Psychology & Judaism and Israel Inside Out, are accredited by Touro College. Students may earn three credits upon completion of each of these courses. Touro College credits are recognized by dozens of colleges and may be easily transferred.

What do the courses cover? Top ^
JerusalemOnlineUniversity.com course topics span a variety of subjects about Judaism, Israel, and Psychology. This includes Jewish history and thought, love and relationships, Kaballah, and happiness and self-fulfillment. Each course features a unique line-up of motivational speakers, educators, political insiders, and experts from leading institutions around the world, including Harvard, Prin
ceton, Oxford and MIT. Individual instructor profiles are available online.
Do the classes need to be taken in order? Top ^
For stipend and college credit students, each class must be completed before the system will allow you to begin the next one. Continuing education students can move from class to class as they please.
How long does it take to complete the courses? Top ^
College credit courses require approximately 40 hours. The stipend and continuing education courses require approximately 10 hours.
Do I qualify for a stipend? Top ^
You may be eligible to receive a $100 stipend* upon completion of one of our courses.**
To qualify for a stipend you must:
Be between the ages of 18 and 26;
Be a college student (enrolled in a part-time/ full-time/ graduate/ undergraduate program);
Complete the course with a grade of at least 80%;
Attend two live events coordinated by your campus rabbi.
(A live event can range from a social event, dinner or lecture to an activism activity. Your campus advisor will be happy to help you with the details and requirements of the live event. If there is no rabbi on your campus, we will provide you with a live event alternative.)
*Stipends are awarded once to each student. (Additional courses can be audited.)
**Students must complete the course within six weeks of the start date.
How do I receive my stipend? Top ^
Those who meet the above qualifications and have been pre-approved for a stipend will receive a check in the mail upon completion of the course.
How can I earn money towards a trip to Israel? Top ^
You may opt for money towards a trip to Israel instead of a cash stipend. This subsidy may be applied to trips organized by Birthright, Hasbara Fellowships, or any other trips approved by your campus rabbi.
